Sold by: Art By Summer
My name is Summer Lewis and I an artist from Austin, Texas. I am currently studying as a BA Studio Art major at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. I have been creating art for as long as I can remember and dream to continue doing what I love forever! I love to work with a variety of mediums, mainly within painting and drawing, depicting portraiture, animals, landscape, architecture, and more!
This piece is an original from my figure II drawing class at Baylor drawn spontaneously while referencing a live model. It is a mixed media drawing/painting on brown butcher paper, and is its own unique size (18″ x 36″) that can be trimmed down on your end. It is a mix of black charcoal, white charcoal, and India ink. The perfect mix of gestural and abstracted portraiture for your wall!
This print is a one of a kind version of an edition I completed for a class. Through the use of coffee stain, I created an overall vintage, western, weathered look to match the horse/water trough imagery.
Medium: oil based ink on coffee stained paper
Created through the relief printmaking process on MDF material.
Dimensions h/w/d: 18 x 22.75”
*Encouraged to be framed in a shadow box frame, so that the crinkled paper can be in effect*
