Amanda Yim is a Cambodian-American artist from the Bay Area, California. She is currently studying art at Brigham Young University and is set to graduate this upcoming spring. She works primarily in oil and acrylic. Her paintings depict the mundane and routine moments in life and shift them into a softer lens. Her main subjects of her paintings are typically centered around her family and Cambodian heritage, telling the story of what it is to be a first-generation Cambodian-American.
